Kenya National Workshop
13-14 July, 2021
HomeNet Kenya with the support of KEFAT and WIEGO is holding a training with home-based workers’ organizations from around the country. The aims of the workshop consist of the following:
- Deepen the understanding of the different types of home-based work
- Understand what is a supply chain, how to map it and where do home-based workers fit in.
- Explore the difference between global and domestic supply chains.
- Clarify the different actors and roles in supply chains for which participants are producing.
- Identify challenges home-based workers are facing in supply chains before and during the pandemic.
- Begin to discuss how to organize better in order to overcome the challenges identified.
