    Established in 1964, Machakos Co-operative Union's primary focus was coffee marketing. Operating with 108 affiliated societies, 34 of which are engaged in coffee, the union's network encompasses more than 45,000 farmers, with 50% being women, many of whom are widows. Beyond this, the Union extends support to over 4000 home-based workers involved in handicraft production. Notably, their product range includes sisal baskets, beadwork, and wood carvings.

Founded in 2017 under the name Women's Creative Studios Association "Aidemi" (meaning "Women's Inspiration" in Kyrgyz language), this organization emerged from IFAD project beneficiaries with the goal of uplifting rural women in Kyrgyzstan's Naryn region. As time progressed, the Association's influence grew to encompass artisans from various regions, amassing a membership of approximately 300 individuals at present.

Registered in 1997 in the Atbashi village, Naryn region, the Public Association "Ak-Bairak" is dedicated to advancing the rehabilitation of disabled children and extending assistance to underprivileged children and orphans. In addition, "Ak-Bairak" undertakes the responsibility of creating employment opportunities for parents of these children, leading to the establishment of a handicraft workshop within the association. Within this initiative, women have acquired expertise in crafting various felt products, which find successful market placement across diverse levels. With a workforce of approximately 180 individuals operating both in workshops and from home, "Ak-Bairak" has further expanded its impact by integrating women from neighboring villages as home-based contributors.

Maldives Authentic Crafts Cooperative Society (MACCS) is a handicraft cooperative purposed for developing and marketing authentic handicraft items of the artisans in the island communities.

MACCS also places environmental conservation and protection at the heart of their work, as revival of traditional handicrafts is dependent on healthy mangroves and ecosystems in the islands. Based in the capital city Malé, MACCS was founded by a group of women to assist and promote the development of local handicrafts industry. Registered in 2011, MACCS promotes local arts and crafts and facilitates market access for local products while working towards environmental sustainability.
