Held on December 4th, 2024, the webinar, attended exclusively by HNI affiliates, provided key updates on HNI’s advocacy efforts regarding the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. It featured Marlese von Broembsen, WIEGO’s former Law Programme director and current Strategy advisor, who gave an overview of the EU CSDDD and it’s current process, and the researcher Shalini Kala, who shared preliminary findings from HNI’s global study on home-based workers in garment and footwear supply chains.
