This session spotlighted the hidden realities of footwear and garment supply chains, revealing the informal employment of workers in workshops and homes. Featuring new ILO analysis and launching HomeNet International’s post-pandemic study, the discussion emphasized the need for Human Rights Due Diligence to protect, not undermine, homeworkers’ livelihoods.
