Home-based workersgroups , part of HomeNet Kenya, organize groups to distribute essential goods during this time. COVID-19 has made home-based workers more vulnerable due to the lockdown. They cannot meet with customers or clients and many were unable to stockpile raw materials before lockdowns began.
In many countries in Africa, home-based workers belong to self-help groups or cooperatives that rely on steady orders from brands and social enterprises.
