SAARC Business Association of Home- Based Workers (SABAH Bhutan) was established with the funding assistance from SAARC Development Fund with the Lead Implementing Agency Home Net South Asia (HNSA) and Self Employed Women Association (SEWA). SABAH Bhutan aimed at enhancing incomes and securing the livelihoods of women home-based workers in Bhutan. SABAH Bhutan’s main focus is in textile (weavers & tailors).

MISSION: SABAH Bhutan is a Public Benefit Organization that functions as a social enterprise model with a primary purpose of strengthening the livelihood initiatives of the Home-Based Workers by providing capacity building, training and marketing skills to the members HBWs, thereby enhancing better facilities for self-sustained income generation and employment. SABAH Bhutan has registered about 1743 home based workers in 19 Districts till date.
